The Weekly Click 2.8.25

Hello, internet strangers!

This is the second installment of The Weekly Click. Technically, it’s probably the fourth or fifth time I’ve done a second installment of The Weekly Click newsletter. I’ve indeed had many different incarnations of this email. My favorite was the one I did with the now-defunct Revue service. However, now I’m back to the service that everyone uses, Substack.

It’s not a perfect email/blogging/social media platform, but Substack does have the advantage of being free. I liked how Revue did their interface and I wish Substack would incorporate some of those features. The closest platform to the old Revue is probably Beehiiv, and I liked what I could do with it. The problem with Beehiiv or Buttondown or any of the other email platforms is that there isn’t an audience there. Growing organically is impossible. Now, I don’t have delusions of grandeur with The Weekly Click, but I’d like a few more people than friends and family to check it out each week. That wasn’t happening with the other platforms. So, here I am back with Substack.

As you can see, I’ve tweaked The Weekly Click’s look and feel. Let me know if you like the changes. I’m also open to suggestions for the future.

Here are the things I thought you might want to click on…
